Scala joins Acentech as principal of the technology group

Cambridge, MA According to Acentech, a world-class consultant in architectural acoustics, noise and vibration control, and audiovisual and technology systems design, Frank Scala II, RCDD, PSP, CTS has joined its technology group as a principal to provide new leadership in the security systems design practice. Scala is a versatile building technology consultant with 24 years of experience in both hands-on system integration and design consulting with a specialization in security systems and intelligent building solutions. He consults on initial technology planning and assessment with stakeholders, through all design phases, construction administration, and commissioning. 

His knowledge of the latest technologies in digital connectivity, integration, and smart buildings informs his practice. 

He is a certified BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer, ASIS Physical Security Professional, AVIX Certified Technology Specialist, and an accredited professional of WiredScore and SmartScore, building technology rating systems. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1999.
