RPL’s Greene | Sweeney makes historic Mary Dexter House 7th million dollar sale on East Side in 2020

Providence, RI Residential Properties Ltd sold 120 Brown St. for $1,685,000. The listing agents for this property were sales associates Kira Greene and Michael Sweeney of the Greene | Sweeney Team. This fanteam works out of RPL’s Providence office. Aleen Weiss of Spitz-Weiss Realtors was the co-broke for this sale. 

According to MLS, RPL has now listed 8 of the 10 East Side listings to sell for over $1 million this year. This is also the 7th sale of over $1 million for the Greene | Sweeney Team in 2020, making them the top-selling luxury agents on the East Side. 

Built in 1891, the Mary Dexter Hill House is a Colonial set on a landscaped corner lot in the College Hill neighborhood. A walkway leads to the portico entrance of this home. The entry hall is decorated with an inlay hardwood design and has a central staircase that connects all three floors of the home. Fireplaces adorn the abutting front-to-back living room, dining room, and library. The chef’s kitchen features stone countertops, and appliances. The family room is illuminated by a wall of windows that face the yard, with deck. On the second level, is a master suite with a private marble bath with a spa shower. Two more suites are on this floor, along with a home office, while three additional bedrooms, a rec room, and a full bath reside on the top floor.
