Crane joins J. Calnan as sr. estimator/MEP specialist

Stephen Crane has joined J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. as senior estimator/MEP specialist. In this capacity, he will be responsible for advancing JC&A's ability to deliver superior MEP services to our clients. Crane has over 25 years of estimating and consulting experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining J. Calnan, Crane held positions at Linbeck Group of Boston, Hunter Roberts Construction, Payton and Walsh Brothers. He has worked across many sectors and has extensive experience in the private school, healthcare, and life science arenas. Some of his clients include Tufts University, Brown University, Emmanuel College and Northeastern University in the private school sector; Lahey Clinic, Mount Auburn Hospital, Milton Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital in the healthcare sector and AVEO Pharmaceuticals and Astra Zeneca in the life sciences sector to name a few. Director of estimating, Peter Beal said "Stephen's MEP experience and expertise adds tremendous value to our estimating department and in turn, will allow us to deliver world-class MEP services to our clients. Our clients will not only receive the upfront preconstruction expertise, but Steve will be involved with all stages of the project from procurement throughout construction."
