BOMA Boston Update: Fishing Tournament, BOMA Golf Tournament and BOMI classes

Boston, MA On June 16th, 110 BOMA Boston members and their guests set out from Liberty Wharf to enjoy a few hours of fishing, led by 21 experienced captains. Afterwards, attendees enjoyed an awards luncheon at Tony C’s in the Seaport to see who caught the largest and most fish! Thank you to our tournament sponsor, Stanley Elevator!

 

 

The Annual BOMA Golf Tournament is being held on Monday, July 10th at Pinehills Golf Club. BOMA members and guests will again take over both the Jones and Nicklaus courses for a round of 18, plus a putting contest and longest drive competitions! Just under 300 golfers will compete for the titles of first place on each course. Thank you to our platinum sponsor, C&W Services! The golf tournament is sold out. Tickets are still available for the golf clinic.

Hosted by the Emerging Professionals, the BOMA Cambridge Crossing Walking Tour will take place on Tuesday, July 18th at DivcoWest Offices, 181 Morgan Ave., Cambridge from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Registration is open for both BOMA members and non-members. BOMA members can register through the BOMA portal and non-members can email Allison Silva (asilva@gbreb.com).

BOMI: Leasing and Marketing for Property Managers is a resource and how-to guide for property managers who have been assigned the additional responsibility of leasing. The course covers everything from working with owners and prospective tenants, to creating marketing and leasing plans, to writing the actual lease. You will be provided with websites, techniques, and valuable resources to smooth your transition from property manager to leasing agent. This accelerated in-person course starts on July 18, 20, 25, 27 from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Three Center Plaza, Mezzanine, Boston, and will be taught by, Barry Familetto, Stetson Management & Development.

Each year, The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) awards & Industry Awards recognize the best and brightest in property management, building operations and service in the real estate industry.
