Acadia/ASM insurance program issues healthy dividends

Boston, MA Acadia Insurance runs an insurance program for ASM member companies that offers highly competitive rates on a variety of insurance policies, including general liability, property, equipment, workers’ comp, umbrella, and more. It’s best known for providing policy holders the ability to earn dividends based on group and individual performance, and the past few years have been a testament to the program’s performance!

This winter, 95 qualifying policy holders received a total of almost $525,000 in dividends for the 2013 and 2015 Plan Years. That averages out to over $5500 in dividends per company – three times more than the cost of an average annual membership in ASM! This brings the total to over $5 million in dividends returned to qualifying policy holders since the Program’s inception in 2003!

Along with a free legal hotline and strong legislative advocacy, the members-only program from Acadia Insurance is another example of the many benefits of ASM membership. For more information on this insurance program, contact John Varitimos, Acadia Insurance director of marketing at 508-263-2505 for details. Or, contact TGA Cross, the sponsoring broker of the program, or any authorized Acadia agent.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
