Congratulations to two leaders of ABCRI member companies who have been named to the 2016 Class of “40 Under Forty,” the annual recognition of up and coming RI business leaders, sponsored by Providence Business News.

Nelson Ferreira, 36, vice president and COO of TRAC Builders, Inc. of Providence, and Eric Mounsey, 33, owner and president of M. Weisman Roofing Co., Inc., of Cumberland, were chosen among hundreds of nominees who have shown success and distinction early in their careers with great promise for the future. It’s great to see construction professionals on the list, further adding to our mantra that ABC members are some of the best in the business! Congrats, guys!

The Hilb Group to offer  “HR Bootcamp”

ABC member, The Hilb Group of Warwick is offering an intensive series of seminars this fall on a number of HR-related topics, including HR trends, employment law, recruiting, training & development, compensation & benefits, safety, diversity, employee relations and performance appraisals. The sessions are suitable for junior HR professionals, office managers, payroll professionals and any others looking to learn about HR for their workplace. Offered to ABC members with a $50 discount, they will be held on successive Fridays, September 9, September 16, September 23 and September 30, 8:30 a.m. - noon, at ABC-RI offices, 249 Roosevelt Ave., Pawtucket. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Interested ABC members can register by sending an email to fred@abcri.org.
