Women Who Will Change Your Life – event held April 3

Medford, MA An informative discussion and networking event entitled “Women Who Will Change Your Life” took place at Century Bank headquarters on April 3. The event, focused on the evolution of women’s entrepreneurship, included discussion on branding oneself as a successful women entrepreneur, successes and obstacles to success as well as available resources and access to capital for women-led businesses. The event was sponsored by the Landy Insurance Agency, the Women’s Bar Association, Century Bank, Exit Realty International and the National Association of Women in Real Estate Business (NAWRB). The panel discussion was moderated by Desiree Patno, founder and CEO of NAWRB and the panel included Linda Sloane Kay, executive vice president of Century Bank; Tami Bonnell, CEO of Exit Realty; Jacquelyn Redmond, Esq. of J. Redmond Law P.C.; and Betsy Magnuson, president of the Landy Insurance Agency. Attendees included real estate professionals, attorneys, insurance brokers as well as many other business owners. A representative of the Small Business Administration provided valuable information and insight to the attendees, and donations were collected for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Medford and Somerville and for My Life My Choice, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of victims of sexual exploitation.
