Waters of Lang McLaughry Commercial leases 2,400 s/f to The Dance Collective

Bruce Waters, CCIM, senior broker for LANG MCLAUGHRY COMMERCIAL completed a lease between the owners of the Glen Road Plaza and The Dance Collective, a long-time full-service dance studio serving the Upper Valley. The Dance Collective will be relocating and expanding into 2,400 s/f formerly occupied by the Hello Beautiful Hair Salon at the Glen Road Plaza. Waters said, "The space available lends itself to a dance studio. It has high ceilings, is open from side to side, but allows room for parent observations and other programs, all at the same time." According to Ally Sawyer, co-owner and creative director of the dance studio, "We love the openness of the space and the location. It will be very attractive for our expansion plans for both New Hampshire and Vermont students." According to The Dance Collective website, "The Dance Collective is a full-service studio offering dance lessons for all ages in the Upper Valley. Whether the interest is classic dancing such as ballet, modern dancing such as hip-hop or somewhere in between, we have dance classes that will work for you." The Glen Road Plaza is a commercial mixed-use plaza, located off of Exit 20 of I-89. It is a 40,000 s/f facility with many retail, office and restaurant tenants. After minor renovations by the landlord and tenant, the studio is projected to be open early this year. LANG MCLAUGHRY COMMERCIAL represented the landlord and assisted the tenant. LANG MCLAUGHRY COMMERCIAL has been servicing the needs of the Upper valley commercial real estate market for over 40 years with its principle office in West Lebanon.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
