Tobin and Crawford of Lila Delman Compass sell Block Island compound

1432 Southwest Point - New Shoreham, R.I.

Block Island, RI Lila Delman Compass continues to lead Block Island’s real estate market with the sale of 1432 Southwest Point for $3.15 million. Lila Delman Compass Associates represented both ends of this transaction, with Rosemary Tobin, Block Island sales manager, representing the seller, and Wendy Crawford, sales associate, representing the buyer.

“Block Island has become an increasingly sought-after place for second-home buyers. With low inventory and increased buyer motivation, the opportunities are there for sellers to get the best price for their properties,” said Tobin. “As always, Wendy, myself, and all of our Lila Delman Compass Associates are here to be a resource for anyone interested in listing or buying on Block Island.”

Design and modern luxuries adorn this 4,666 s/f home in the private neighborhood of Southwest Point. Key property features include 6-bedrooms, 5.5-bathrooms, a gunite pool, a Har-Tru tennis court, and gardens on 1.84 acres.

According to data maintained by the Rhode Island Statewide MLS, this transaction marks Block Island’s highest sale, year-to-date. Historically, Lila Delman Compass has participated in six out of Block Island’s top 10 sales ever, which is more than any other firm.*

Rosemary Tobin is recognized as the top producing Sales Associate on Block Island, across all firms, having held this title in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

*This representation is based on information from the RI Statewide MLS for the period of January 1, 2020 – April 2, 2021. Neither Lila Delman Compass nor the MLS guarantees or are responsible for the accuracy of the data provided to them. Data maintained by the MLS may not reflect all real estate activity in the market.
