The Codman Award for Lifetime Achievement will be presented to Henry Moss of Bruner/Cott Architects and Planners, for his notable accomplishments in the historic preservation field over the past four decades, including contributions to large-scale adaptive reuse projects such as MASS MoCA, the Watertown Arsenal, Channel Center in the South End, the Waltham Watch Factory, and numerous university buildings in New England. Accepting the President's Award for Excellence will be Jonathan Davis of The Davis Cos., in recognition of his contributions to Boston's built environment through thoughtful investment and development. The large portfolio of The Davis Cos. includes a diversity of building types, yet projects embracing historic buildings and their character have always been an integral and passionate part of Davis' work. Past projects such the Exeter Street Theatre and the St. Cloud Hotel demonstrate Jon's ability to adapt historic buildings to meet the modern demands of a thriving community - finding a balance that allows buildings to evolve while preserving their unique contributions to the city's character. The Boston Preservation Alliance is offering the opportunity to take part in its selection process by voting for your favorite project of the 2015 award winners! The Fan Favorite Award will be announced on the night of the ceremony. Contact Emily Barge at 617-367-2458 x205 for more information or sponsorship opportunities.
