What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? Growing up in Puerto Rico, I fell in love with the Spanish-Colonial style architecture that has stood the test of time, historical battles, and weather. The fact that many of these structures are still standing

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months?  In 2022, I was awarded Hartford Business Journal’s Top 25 Women in Business Awards. It was such an honor to receive this award and be recognized as a female architectural leader in the Hartford area.

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? I’m currently working on the new Veterans’ Home in Holyoke, a joint venture with Commodore Builders and Walsh Brothers. The new 350,000 s/f facility will replace the existing long-term care facility and will feature 234 long-term care beds.

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months?  Last year, our team completed a complex and transformative $40 million phased renovation and addition at the Lowry Center at the College of Wooster. Lowry Center is a student center and dining hall that every student on campus visits

Who or what inspired you to join the AEC industry? Holding a degree in architecture and having over 20 years of professional experience in the field, coupled with a decade of expertise in 3D laser scanning and Building Information Modeling (BIM), my background combines extensive professional experience

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? As builders, we have an opportunity to be a part of something much bigger than ourselves that will make lasting impacts on our communities. Each project presents new opportunities and challenges

What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry? There is no greater motivation than when you walk around the city and admire the beautiful buildings that you and your co-workers have contributed to. The challenges we faced during the project were all worth it in the end.

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? I am proud of two significant achievements over the past year. First is the completion of a vibrant, attractive, three-story community center that is now the hub of our flagship property, Hancock Village.

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? My biggest achievement this past year is being able to apply my master’s degree in Construction Management, which I earned from Wentworth in 2022, to two large construction projects at Chestnut Hill Realty.

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? My greatest professional achievement so far would be taking the leap from interior design to construction. It’s an intimidating thought to divert from the field you received your degree in, but I felt there was more growth, challenge, and opportunity

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months?  We have launched a program of integrating comprehensive workplace consulting services into all client engagements, which has bolstered our women-led, LGBT-owned firm’s reputation as thought leaders and innovators

What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry?  Every day I am afforded audience with professionals in multiple industries. I get to work on collaborative projects to positively impact quality of life for New Hampshire including healthcare, education, civics, housing and the arts.
