S&S Hotels's Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place is close to completion

The new Renaissance Hotel and Spa at Patriot Place is buzzing with activity. Finish carpenters, dry wall installers, carpet installers and painters are applying the interior finishes on all levels of the hotel's interior, while installers complete the exterior finishes. The 150-key, hotel and spa are being developed by S & S Hotels, LLC of Manchester, N.H. and Colwen Management Inc. of Nashua, N.H. will manage the resort. Pro Con Inc, of Manchester is the architect and construction manager for the 4-star hotel project which anchors the stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues at Patriot Place and is adjacent to Gillette Stadium. The hotel's public spaces including the lounge, restaurant, pool and fitness area have 2-story curtain wall windows that provide amazing views of the adjacent Gillette Stadium and the surrounding Patriot Place. The hotel's public spaces will include a 98-seat restaurant, a private dining room, a lounge with 60-foot bar and stone hearth oven, outside patio for casual dining, a flexible space conference room, an enclosed business center, a club lounge on the 5th floor, fitness center, indoor pool and a full service spa with 14 treatment rooms that will offer facials, massages, body wraps/scrubs, nail care, and hair care. The hotel was designed and is being built to accommodate a 100-room addition. The Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place will reflect the brand's new multi-purpose lobby zones, distinctive room designs and new signature services. The intent is to provide guests with a memorable travel experience through unique style, attention to detail and sophisticated technology. Pro Con designed the Renaissance lobby around Marriott's "great room" concept; to create inviting areas intended for relaxation, socializing and entertainment. The Kraft Group is developing Patriot Place, which when complete, will include over 80 stores and restaurants, several entertainment venues including a 500-seat jazz club, a sports medicine and healthcare clinic, a 14-screen movie theater, and "The Hall at Patriot Place," the New England Patriot's Hall of Fame museum and pro shop, and the Renaissance Hotel and Spa. Under the great room umbrella, the hotel's public space will be a series of multi-purpose zones; "The Social Business Zone" where guests can eat and meet in the area during the day and socialize in the area at night; "The Individual Zone", allowing guests to relax by themselves or work independently, while still being in the company of other people; and "At Your Service", where guests can check in and out of the hotel, ask for concierge help or business services, in one common area. Guests will be able to select from a variety of food and beverage services, including formal and informal sit-down, light fare at the bar or great room areas, and in-room service. The S & S Hotels' portfolio includes 17 hotel properties throughout the Northeast, including Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, Marriott Town Place Suites and SpringHill Suites, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Ashworth by the Sea, a full service hotel and banquet center on the seacoast of New Hampshire. S & S Hotels was recently awarded Marriott International's Partnership Circle Award; Marriott's highest honor recognizing owner and franchise companies that embody Marriott's vision of excellence in hospitality, development, guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction and quality assurance. The company continues to concentrate on dynamic, high quality properties and is presently working on additional projects in Florida, New York, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Colwen Management Inc. manages a portfolio of full service and limited service hotel properties across the northeastern United States. Colwen Management oversees the management of hotel properties, directs all activities within the properties, and maintains standards set by Marriott, Hilton and owners. Pro Con Inc is working closely with S S Hotels and Colwen Management to coordinate deliveries and installations in order to ensure a successful project completion in late spring.
