"In today's deep recession, human capital and financial capital seek safety-and companies on the 100 Best Corporate Citizens List are today's safest harbors," said  CRO Magazine publisher Jay Whitehead.  "Integrity and ethical behavior are key values at Jones Lang LaSalle," said Colin Dyer, the firm's CEO and president. "Superior client service, supportive employment practices, strong corporate governance and responsible corporate citizenship all help to ensure our long-term success." First published in 2000 by Business Ethics Magazine, the 100 Best Corporate Citizens List published by CRO Magazine is the most-recognized corporate responsibility ranking of Russell 1000 companies. The list is based 100% on publicly-available information and is compiled for CRO Magazine by Portland, Maine-based IW Financial, a leading provider of SRI rankings to institutional investors.  MS&L is the official PR firm of the CRO's 2009 100 Best Corporate Citizens List.
