Rozen promoted to senior vice president and CFO at Corvias Group
According to Corvias Group, a privately-owned, vertically-integrated real estate solutions group, senior vice president of finance, David Rozen, has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer.
In his expanded role, Rozen will oversee external financial relationships with Corvias' institutional partners, while continuing to run the day-to-day financial operations of the company and its divisions: Picerne Military Housing and Corvias Campus Living. Rozen has been instrumental in helping the company grow its military housing business and has been a key player in working with Corvias Campus Living managing director, Kurt Ehlers, to spearhead the company's expansion into the student housing market.
"Thanks to David's financial and economic skills, we have become known for our ability to help clients develop and deliver the solutions that their customers need without burdening their balance sheets and credit ratings," said John Picerne, president and CEO of Corvias.
"His deep understanding of long-term finance, coupled with his natural ability to problem solve, will play an instrumental role as we pursue innovative solutions to housing challenges in the military and higher education markets."
Since joining the team in 2004, Rozen has been in charge of overseeing the finances of Picerne Military Housing's portfolio comprised of nearly 21,000 units. Throughout his career in institutional housing, Rozen has procured and acquired nearly 17,000 units, raised more than $1 billion in private placement and municipal funding, and been involved in multiple restructurings and workouts.
Rozen is also actively involved in a number of charitable organizations inspired by his daughter Lucy. He is the co-founder of the annual "Links for Lucy" golf tournament, which raises money for children with epilepsy. Rozen is also on the Board of Directors for The Matty Fund, a non-profit organization that provides resources for children and families living with epilepsy. Additionally, he is involved with Wide Horizon for Children, a child welfare and adoption agency.
