Roberts of WS Development signs Best Buy to 33,000 s/f

According to WS Development, Best Buy has signed a lease to join The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley located on Rte. 146 just off the Mass Tpke. (I-90). Best Buy will occupy a 33,000 s/f space next to Target and Kohl's in the space formerly occupied by Circuit City. Best Buy is one of the world's largest specialty consumer electronics retailers with more than 1,300 stores. Number 66 on the Fortune 500, the company's family of brands and partnerships collectively generates more than $45 billion in annual revenue. "A national electronics player of this caliber and reputation is an exceptional addition to The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley," said Mark Roberts, senior vice president leasing, WS Development. "In the tight New England market, the Circuit City vacancies have created an outstanding opportunity for great tenants such as Best Buy to expand. These opportunities are being quickly filled in the few locations we have across the WS Development portfolio." Best Buy will join American Eagle Outfitters, Applebees, AT&T, Babies R Us, Bank of America, Barnes & Noble, California Nails, Carter's, Chico's, Cinema de Lux, Claire's, Coldstone Creamery, Coldwater Creek, Dick's Sporting Goods, Eastern Mountain Sport, Elizabeth Grady, Famous Footwear, FYE, GameStop, Gap Glow Tanning, GNC Guitar Center, IParty, Jos. A. Bank, Justice, Kay Jewelers, Kirkland's, Kohl's, Lane Bryant, LOFT, LongHorn Steakhouse, Marshall's, Mattress Giant, Michaels, Old Navy, Orange Salon, The Paper Store, Payless ShoeSource, PetSmart, Pier 1 Imports, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Quiznos Sub, Red Robi, Snip-Its, Sprint, Staple, Stride Rite, T-Mobile, T.G.I. Friday's, Target, Uno Chicago Grill, Verizon Wireless and Yankee Candle.
