RICABOR awarded NAR Smart Growth Grant

The Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of REALTORS was awarded a Smart Growth Grant from the National Association of REALTORS. The board is working with representatives from the International Council of Shopping Centers, Grow Smart RI and regional real estate professionals to develop a networking and education program for the Spring of 2013. Lawrence Platt of Platt Realty Group based in Providence RI is the co-chair of the ICSC New England Idea Exchange for 2013 and also serves as the co-chair of the private sector co-chair of the New England Alliance Program for that group. Platt has brought together this committee to establish a program to enhance the partnership between local and state public interests in relevant development issues. RICABOR is pleased to be a part of this initiative and we look forward to bringing this programming to our members and interested parties. Gregory Skoutas, CCIM is the president of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors, Providence, R.I.
