Rancourt of JSA becomes a certified EDAC practitioner

According to JSA Inc, Christine Rancourt, EDAC, LEED AP, has passed the Evidence-based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) exam. EDAC is a program that has established standards using an evidence-based design process for healthcare building projects. An EDAC certified individual can help make design decisions to produce measureable improvements in healthcare facility clinical outcomes, economic performance, productivity, customer satisfaction and cultural measures, among others. Rancourt was also selected as one of eight Herman Miller Healthcare Scholars nationwide to attend the 2013 Healthcare Design Conference sponsored by the Center for Health Design and the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health. This scholarship program is part of Herman Miller's continuing commitment to excellence in healthcare architecture and support of young architects. Rancourt is part of the JSA team currently working on the design and construction for the renovation and repositioning of True North at North Hill senior living community in Needham, Mass.
