R.I. Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors holds annual meeting and installation of officers/directors; Nahigian, FRICS, SIOR, CRE of Auburndale Realty delivers keynote address

Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors annual meeting and installation of officers and directors was held on October 6th at the Squantum Association, 947 Veterans Memorial Pwy. The keynote speaker was Robert Nahigian, FRICS, SIOR, CRE, founder of Auburndale Realty Co., Newton, Mass., who presented "Addressing the Challenging Marketplace: Where have we been? Where are we going?" A special program for commercial practitioners and real estate appraisers Nahigian is the current CRE New England/Upstate NY chapter president and past president for SIOR. He is the 2009 CRE recipient of the James Felt Creative Counseling Award for the most outstanding achievement and ingenuity in a real estate counseling assignment in the U.S., awarded by Boston's Commercial Brokers Association as the "Real Estate Advisory Assignment of the Year." 2011 proposed slate of officers & directors: * Richard Berlinsky, president; * Peter Scotti, vice president; * Gregory Skoutas, treasurer; * Jeffrey Butler, corporate secretary; and * Peter Spinella, immediate past president.
