Proficient Builders to convert 28,000 s/f in Westborough

Hughes Entertainment, Inc. contracted Proficient Builders to convert a 28,000 s/f retail space into the company's 3rd LaserCraze location in Massachusetts (N. Andover, Woburn). The project included a 9,400 s/f Laser Tag Arena (4,000 s/f of which is a new mezzanine) for laser tag which is a fast-paced high-tech game that combines the games of hide and seek, tag and capture the flag, incorporating interactive computer and laser technology. There is an 3,800 s/f Adrenaline Zone, which is filled with the most enormous inflatable play structures ever created. A 3,800 s/f Arcade/Game Zone has video, sport and win-ticket-for-prizes games. The center also included a café area; lounge area and vesting/briefing rooms, all new mechanical, new roof top units; plumbing (all new bathrooms); new front entrance, service/kitchen area, offices and sales area. "It was a pleasure to work with Jim Taylor and his team on our third LaserCraze location...it's a great thing to have total trust and confidence in your general contractor when undertaking this kind of project," said Greg Hughes, president of Hughes Entertainment, Inc.
