Pro Con completes Portsmouth Harbor Events and Conference Center

Pro Con Inc. has completed the new Portsmouth Harbor Events and Conference Center at 100 Portwalk Place. The 10,000 s/f center is a full service conference and event facility. Pro Con Inc. was the architect and construction manager for the eco-friendly center. Colwen Management of Nashua is managing the event center. The center features over-sized windows, urban décor, a full commercial kitchen and indoor & outdoor pre-function space. The center is part of the first phase of Portwalk, a planned mixed-use development in the historic district with office, retail, restaurants, residences and a recently opened Residence Inn by Marriott hotel. The conference facility is located within walking distance to shops, museums, parks, the waterfront, and is adjacent to several hotels. Pro Con's design build professionals incorporated environmentally beneficial strategies into the center's design and construction and have registered the Portsmouth Harbor Events and Conference Center with the U.S. Green Building Council, as a first step toward obtaining LEED certification. Once certified, the center will be one of the only LEED certified conference facilities in New Hampshire.
