PREIT to add new retail and dining options at Dartmouth Mall - Boot Barn, Lock Room by Lids, and more

Dartmouth, MA According to PREIT, Dartmouth Mall, the dominant enclosed retail destination in Southeastern Mass., will welcome the region’s first Boot Barn this fall. The nearly 15,000 s/f western and work wear retailer joins several other new tenants as part of the mall’s continued strategic remerchandising efforts to enhance its diverse mix of retail, dining, fitness, and entertainment offerings.

Joining Boot Barn as the mall’s latest addition is Locker Room by Lids, the specialty retailer offering a wide selection of licensed and branded merchandise for sports enthusiasts, will open later this month. The mall has also recently welcomed Cinnabon and Carvel to enhance its specialty food options, with Chick-fil-A planned to open as an outparcel later this year.

The evolution of Dartmouth Mall began with the proactive recapture of the former Sears space, leading to the successful introduction of Burlington, ALDI and ULTA Beauty. These dynamic additions laid the foundation for continued improvements, positioning the mall as a vibrant hub for the community.

These new tenants complement Dartmouth Mall’s existing roster, which includes national retailers such as American Eagle, Hollister, H&M, Five Below and dining and entertainment venues like AMC Theatres, Buffalo Wild Wings and Panera Bread.

The mall’s unique position as the only enclosed shopping center within a 30-mile radius, coupled with its proximity to popular vacation destinations like Cape Cod and Newport, underscores its significance in the region.

“The success of new-to-market tenants like Burlington, ALDI and ULTA demonstrate strong demand for this type of retail experience in our market,” said Sean Linehan, Vice President of Leasing. “Adding Boot Barn as the region’s first location will only solidify our position as the destination of choice in the region, helping to cement our commitment to our customers of bringing fresh concepts to their market.”
