Powers & Company represents landlord in six transactions

Leslie Cotter of Powers & Company has brokered two new leases totaling 36,160 s/f. Representing the landlord, CGI Companies, Big Lots, a national discount retailer, has leased 27,650 s/f at Raynham Crossing on Rte. 44, and Especially for Pets, a strong local business catering to the retail of high quality pet supply, grooming, and training, has leased the former Blockbuster and Only Flooring building for a total of 8,510 s/f, on Rte. 20 in Sudbury. Ria McNamara represented Especially for Pets. Cotter of Powers & Company represented the landlord at Adams Plaza in Quincy. InSync Center of the Arts has leased 7,863 s/f and will be joining Walgreens, UPS, Curves and Quiznos. In addition to all styles of dance classes, art and music classes, and birthday parties, In Sync also offers a Me Too class that caters to special needs students with autism, down syndrome and other disabilities. Powers & Company represented the landlord, Centercorp Retail Properties, in the leasing of a new development at 980 Paradise Rd. in Swampscott. T-Mobile and Five Guys Burgers and Fries will open this summer in the new class A neighborhood retail center built on the site of a former Sunoco gas station. Ed Gerwig of National Commercial Brokers represented T-Mobile and Cotter worked with Adam Conviser of the Conviser Property Group who represented Five Guys Burgers & Fries. Powers & Company represented the owner in the redevelopment of Ames Plaza on Rte. 18 in Abington. Formerly an Ames anchored center with small shop space, the 19.6-acre site was redeveloped into a free standing Lowe's Home Improvement Center. Lowe's was represented by The Dartmouth Company. Powers & Company exclusively represents landlords throughout New England.
