Polar Design Build selected for Callico Distributors expansion

Taunton, MA Polar Design Build, Inc. has been selected to complete an 83,109 s/f tenant expansion for Callico Distributors, Inc. located at 90 Prince Henry Dr. This will essentially double the usable square footage to just under 200,000 s/f.

Callico Distributors is a redistributor of paper, plastics, disposables, and janitorial supplies in New England. Family operated since 1981, Callico offers over 4,000 products including their own Callico band. Callico serves the hospital, food services, health care, office, government, and educational industries.

Polar Design Build will be acting as the general contractor for the project. They have tapped DiPrete Engineering, Maugel Architects, Flood Consulting and CBC Engineers for the expansion.

The extension of the building will be set to match the existing property. The heights will be 32’ clear, 8” concrete slab, ESFR sprinklers, LED lights, insulated metal panel walls, three additional overhead dock doors and updated fire alarm system throughout. In addition to expansion on the building, Polar Design Build will add an addition detention basin with restoration areas to the landscape.
