Polar Design Build finalizes 34,000 s/f for Kenworth Northeast - designed by Maugel DeStefano

Middleton, MA Polar Design Build, Inc. has completed the 34,000 s/f sales, office and service facility for Kenworth Northeast. 

Kenworth Northeast is a full-service dealership for trucks including showroom, parts, and service bays. Spanning from New York to Rhode Island, Kenworth Northeast is committed to providing its customers with the best medium and heavy-duty trucks, service, and quality parts. This facility is expected to employ 40 and once fully operational, it will offer engine service, commercial truck alignments, repairs, preventative maintenance and more. 

Polar Design Build, Inc. was the general contractor for the project. They selected Maugel DeStefano Architects, Flood Consulting and CBC Engineers for the ground up building. 

The facility was constructed out of CMU block, architectural insulated panels and an 8” pitched concrete slab, full sprinkler system throughout, LED lights, 11 service bays, a fabrication area, component rebuild area, state inspection bays and wash bays as well as radiant heated flooring the service areas. Also included is a five-ton crane to remove and place heavy duty engine parts on a variety of trucks.
