Newport, RI Peregrine Group LLC has completed Phase I of a multi-phase project plan for the Newport Yachting Center Marina located at 20 Commercial Wharf.

The $1.6 million Marina Point renovation project consisted of aesthetic and operational improvements to the marina office, guest and hospitality facilities. Improvements focused on new hardscape and landscaping integrating state of the art stormwater management practices previously non-existent on the site.

Birchwood Design Group led master planning and detailed site planning services in conjunction with PARE Corporation and McGeorge Architecture Interiors. Construction partners included JAM Construction, Aquidneck Land Works and R & R Construction. Peregrine’s affiliate company, Scott’s Wharf LLC purchased the property from Newport Harbor Corporation in November of 2014. The multi-phased renovation and improvement plan will be moving forward with Phase II beginning in 2017.
