One Beacon Street awarded Green Building of the Year by USGBC
The current owners took possession of One Beacon St. in 2006, and since then it has been on the cutting edge for sustainability in Boston. One Beacon St. was the first existing building in Boston to achieve LEED-EB certification, and is currently LEED-EB Platinum. The building was able to do this through many different projects to maximize the building's efficiency and sustainability over the past few years.
