John Weltman, president, Circle Surrogacy, Ltd., said, "We were looking for the perfect location and building for our two businesses, and wanted to find both a great space and special building to build a new home. After many months of searching, and touring nearly 50 buildings, not only did we find a great space but we were made to feel at home from the first conversation to the last meeting we had with The Davis Companies. Their personal, direct approach was extraordinary. We look forward to developing a long relationship with our new partners." "We are thrilled to have Circle Surrogacy and The Weltman Law Group as our newest tenant in 200 High St." said Duncan Gilkey, senior vice president and director of leasing for The Davis Companies. "Not only does Circle/Weltman provide a world renowned service to people wanting to have babies, but our core mission to build and maintain strong personal relationships with clients goes to the heart of our business philosophy." 200 High St. is a 100,000 s/f class B low-rise office building on the corner of High and Broad St.'s in the Financial District overlooking the Rose Kennedy Greenway and the Boston Harbor. Built in 1860, and completely renovated and expanded in 1990, the 6-story building features a recently renovated marble floored lobby, high-speed elevators, and common areas. The Circle/Weltman space has both a patio deck and a penthouse, making it one of the most desirable and affordable spaces in the Financial District. Building amenities include on-site management, Panera Bread, The Lobby Bar & Kitchen, and The Revolution Rock Bar. Additional area amenities include: 11 hotels, fine restaurants, health clubs, and 3,000 parking spaces within blocks. 200 High St. is in a prime location, equidistant to North and South Stations, directly across from the Rose Kennedy Greenway, the Logan Airport water taxi, and South Shore commuter boats. According to Jones Lang LaSalle's O'Regan, "200 High St. is a modern low rise that connects the Financial District with the waterfront. The Davis Companies worked diligently to get this transaction completed, and Circle Surrogacy looks forward to continuing to prosper here."
