Christie and McGee of NAI Hunneman complete $1.6 million sale

According to NAI Hunneman, a leading provider of commercial real estate services to corporations, institutions and the private market, it has brokered the sale of College Inn Apartments for $1.6 million. NAI Hunneman's executive vice president and principal Carl Christie and Dan McGee, investment sales, represented the seller, Woodwalk Properties LP, and procured the buyer, Belchertown Road Partners LLC. Located at 10 & 12 Belchertown Rd. (Route 9), the two apartment buildings were built in 1964, and were 100% occupied at the time of the sale. The front building, located at 12 Belchertown is a two-story former hotel containing 21 garden-style apartment units: 20 studios and one four-bedroom unit. The rear building located at 10 Belchertown is a single-story L-shaped building containing 14 one-bedroom units. "The buyer is holding these apartments buildings as an income property," said Christie. "We're very pleased with this transaction that had attracted a number of investors."
