Northstar promotes Touchette to shareholder

Andy Touchette

Cambridge, MA Northstar, a real estate services firm providing project management, development management, and advisory services, has promoted Andy Touchette to shareholder.

Northstar introduced shareholders to their leadership team in 2019 as part of their growth strategy to continue their trajectory in expanding their project management services and providing services to their clients. Touchette joins fellow shareholders Jason Atwood, Daniel Govoni, Lisa Hamilton, Natasha Marcuard, and John Townsend, now principal. Together, the shareholders will work with the leadership team to continue to grow and achieve the firm’s long-term goals.

Touchette joined Northstar in 2014 and has over 13 years of senior-level project management and engineering experience on various capital, tenant improvement, and development projects.

His expertise spans all phases of the development process, including planning, permitting, design, construction administration, and closeout. Andy’s portfolio includes multiple recent projects for Harvard University, including capital improvements and renovations for several housing, administrative and academic buildings, a tenant fit-out for new offices at a private equity firm in the Back Bay, and work on behalf of healthcare and life science development clients.

“On behalf of the Northstar partners, I congratulate Andy on his promotion to shareholder. In the eight years he has been with us, Andy has consistently demonstrated a winning combination of strong technical competency, management skills, and an incredible work ethic on behalf of our financial, institutional, healthcare, and life science clients. With the addition of Andy, we ensure the continued growth of our firm.” said Tom Fanning, president of Northstar. “We are proud of Andy’s demonstrated track record for accepting new challenges and additional responsibilities and becoming a valued contributor to the Northstar culture and brand.”

Before joining Northstar, Andy was a civilian engineer for the United States Army, overseeing construction projects at a government-owned installation. He is a member of NAIOP and a building committee member for the new Hingham Public Safety Facility. Andy earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Vermont.
