North Branch Const. completes new $3.8 million George and Ella Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson

North Branch Construction, Inc. has completed construction of the new George H. and Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library located at 194 Derry Rd. The new library, designed by Adams and Smith, LLC of Swampscott, Mass., is a 13,500 s/f single-story building with a 2,500 s/f basement and features a stone veneer exterior. The new $3.8 million library was a gift to the town from Phillip and Alvin Rodgers in memory of their late parents, long time residents of the town. The Rodgers Memorial Library will replace the Hills Memorial Library, which opened it's doors on June 11, 1909. The Hills Library closed in early April to begin the transition to the new Rodgers Memorial Library. The town anticipates a grand opening on June 7 to coincide with the 100th anniversary celebration of the Hills Memorial Library. North Branch Construction, Inc. celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2008 as one of the largest construction firms in the state of New Hampshire. Recent projects include New Hampshire Public Radio's new broadcast studio in Concord; a new plant office building for Stonyfield Farm in Londonderry; the new Londonderry Bus Terminal (and associated maintenance and storage buildings) in Londonderry; and Exeter Hospital's new Exeter Healthreach Dental Clinic.
