Cobb Hill receives 3 Cornerstone Awards from HBRANH

Cobb Hill Construction, Inc. has been awarded three 2009 Cornerstone Awards presented by the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire (HBRANH). Recipients were presented at an award celebration, Take it to the Top, on May 13, at the Radisson/Center of New Hampshire in Manchester. Cobb Hill was awarded in the following categories: GOLD: Commercial Restoration: Bedford Village Inn Project Cobb Hill was honored to have been chosen to lead another renovation project for the Bedford Village Inn. This unique and historic property underwent significant renovations, the addition of a custom-built wine bar, and the implementation of the latest in modern technology and upscale finishes. GOLD: Historical Commercial Restoration: The Exeter Inn Project Having successfully completed Haycreek Hospitality's Centennial Inn in 2006, Cobb Hill developed a flourishing relationship with the boutique hotelier, and as a result was chosen to renovate their Exeter Inn. The scope of this project was to integrate modern amenities while maintaining the building's historical character. All 46 guest rooms underwent renovations, as well as the Epoch Bar & Grill. SILVER: Community Service Project Award: Create in 48 Cobb Hill, along with several like-minded suppliers and volunteers, joined together for Create in 48 - a charity-driven construction project for Skylar, a 7 year-old Bow resident suffering from Asperger Syndrome. The project's scope was to create a 24' x 16' therapy room to house activity equipment specifically designed for Skylar's medical and developmental needs. The Cornerstone Awards are presented yearly to recognize excellence in the building industry. Construction professionals who are members of the HBRANH enter their best work to be judged by a neighboring chapter of the Home Builders Association. "Receiving a Cornerstone Award is a significant honor in our industry, and we are very pleased that our dedication to quality and craftsmanship has been acknowledged in three categories for these projects," said Jerry Kingwill, principal of Cobb Hill Construction.
