NAI Norwood Group opens office in Portsmouth

NAI Norwood Group, the Bedford-based commercial real estate affiliate of NAI Global has opened a new regional office in the Franklin Block building at 75 Congress St. in downtown. Providing a needed direct regional presence in the Seacoast area, Norwood Group founder Karl Norwood, believes this new location will be an asset to both current and future clients. "Downtown Portsmouth, and the Seacoast region overall, is a growing area with historic charm and an eye toward the future." Norwood Group's regional director Chuck Gross feels the new location is completely in sync with the region's development. "Portsmouth is a well-located, tech-savvy city with a rich historic and cultural heritage. Downtown Portsmouth is simply a great place to be and an ideal location for a growing company." As New Hampshire's economic growth continues to outpace its New England neighbors, the desirable Seacoast region is a clear beneficiary. With the tax-free retail status, variety of existing successful businesses, and continued expansion of Pease International Tradeport, it's obvious why the Portsmouth area has won praises from national publications, including Money Magazine, as one of the best places to live and work in the United States. The new NAI Norwood Group location will keep the momentum going by attracting more businesses to the region as well as assisting existing businesses with expansion and relocation of, or repositioning their real estate assets. Chris Norwood, Vice President of the NAI Norwood Group and New Hampshire CIBOR's Realtor of the Year adds, "NAI Norwood Group is dedicated to the Portsmouth region, and we look forward to helping the region grow." The NAI Norwood Group will leverage their experience throughout New Hampshire with the international reach of NAI Global to promote the benefits of locating and expanding commercial services in the New Hampshire Seacoast area. Karl is ready to build on the 40-year success of his companies, "This is an opportunity to take our real estate knowledge and expertise to the next level. We have assembled a team of highly qualified professionals who will deliver the local knowledge and critical commercial real estate skills expected of an industry leader." About NAI Norwood Group Karl and Louise Norwood founded The Norwood Group Inc. in 1968, and have been involved in all facets of the real estate industry. NAI Norwood Group provides their office, retail, industrial, land and investment clients with professional real estate services in all areas of brokerage, consulting, development and outsourcing, both locally and worldwide.
