Meet IREM Member: Nancy Reno

Nancy Reno, CPM is a 2014 Boston Chapter executive councilor and has been in the affordable housing industry for over 25 years. As VP of marketing and training for Housing Management Resources, she is responsible for the lease-up of properties as well as maintaining competitive occupancy rates throughout the company. She has developed and implemented a comprehensive employee training program and she is responsible for the annual company-wide conference. Reno has an intricate knowledge of new construction design, and her background includes developing capital needs analysis and multi-site acquisitions. She has provided owners and managers with effective long-term reserve planning strategies and capital budget implementation. Reno also specializes in developing long-term maintenance programs to extend the useful life of any investment. She has accredited certifications in both Tax Credit compliance and HUD housing administration. Reno has been a long standing member of the IREM and earned her Certificate of Property Management (CPM) designation in 2007. She has been an active member of the Condominium Association Institute since 1993. Reno is a current board member of the New England Affordable Housing Management Association (NEAHMA) and is the chairperson for the marketing and public relations committee.
