McDonald, Berkery and Wegner of Mott & Chace sell 27 Cedar Ave. for $1.175 million

Barrington, RI  Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty sold 27 Cedar Ave. for $1,175,000. The sellers were represented by Helen Macdonald, sales associate and Midge Berkery, sales associate and the buyers were represented by Tom Wegner, sales associate: all of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. 
According to data available from Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, this is the sixth highest sale in Barrington this year. Agents of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty also represented clients in four of the top ten sales in the town this year.
“This stunning house is filled with character and history,” said Berkery.  “It is a beautiful home in a beautiful coastal town.”
The colonial, originally built in 1817, was expanded in a 2012 renovation. Now featuring over 4,000 s/f, the home includes five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.
Macdonald said, “Just minutes to the water, you can’t ask for a better location. This large family home is ready for the next generation.”
