Maron Construction to renovate Naval Undersea Warfare Center testing facility
Maron Construction Co. has been awarded a $5.6 million contract from the U.S. Navy to renovate the Naval Undersea Warfare Center's anti-submarine warfare support facility.
Maron will demolish and rebuild the center portion of the building originally constructed during World War II. Construction is planned to be complete by February 2012.
The entire project is expected to cost $9.9 million including Maron's contract.
AECOM Services, Inc. will provide architectural and engineering design services.
