Marcus Partners completes $25m redevelopment of 94,125 s/f building

Methuen, MA Marcus Partners, a real estate investment, management and development firm, has completed a $25 million redevelopment of 5 Branch St., a 94,125 s/f office building. The building has been transformed into a medical facility with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) as the anchor tenant occupying more than half of the property. DFCI will offer cancer and blood disorder care and outpatient services to adult patients in Merrimack Valley.

“Working closely with Dana-Farber’s team, we are proud to have been a partner in helping deliver a first-class facility to serve the Merrimack Valley,” said Peter Cameron, a principal at Marcus Partners. “Our deep experience in medical facilities allowed for us to support the amazing team at Dana-Farber in creating a destination for treatment and wellness that is unmatched in this region. We are excited about the opportunity to accommodate like-minded medical groups in the remainder of the facility.”

As a result of the extensive redevelopment, 5 Branch St. now offers new building systems and a new entry and lobby including an in-building café. Additionally, parking and access from both I-93 and Rte. 495 create a desirable and convenient location for medical practices and their patients.

Michael Greeley of Newmark Knight Frank’s medical team is leading the remaining leasing efforts for 5 Branch St. on behalf of Marcus Partners.
