Marcus & Millichap handles sale of Big Value Plaza

Dartmouth, MA Marcus & Millichap has completed the sale of Big Value Plaza, an 85,000 s/f retail property, according to Thomas Shihadeh, regional manager of the firm’s Boston office.

Adam Cohen, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Boston office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor.  The buyer was also procured by Cohen. The sale price was not disclosed.

“Big Value Plaza is a meticulously maintained property with seasoned tenancy in a great location. We had offers from buyers in New York, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire, but in the end chose a buyer from Massachusetts who owns other properties of this type in the region” said Cohen.

Big Value Plaza is located at 718 Dartmouth St., in a densely populated area with more than 117,00 residents within five miles of the site. Anchored by Big Value, the plaza has a strong mix of local, regional, and national tenants. Over the past four years, the owner has made significant improvements, including a renovated parking lot and roof replacements.
