“The extraordinary desire for our beautiful Rhode Island coastal properties continues to rise as evidenced by the overwhelming demand,” said Kermes. “This home was designed with exquisite detailing, and the views of the ocean are incredible.”

Dorbay, a classic seaside New England stone and shingle home completely redesigned, expanded, and reconstructed in 2014, is sited on 8.5 acres in the exclusive, coastal enclave of ‘Whale Rock’, consisting of over 140 acres, the majority of which has been preserved by The Nature Conservancy and US Fish and Wildlife.

With 4,156 s/f of space, Dorbay provides a residence that includes six bedrooms, five full and two half baths, three fireplaces, a detached four-bay garage, an in-ground pool and a courtyard. Dorbay offers privacy and views of the Atlantic Ocean.

This represents the third-highest sale in Narragansett year-to-date, according to data from Rhode Island MLS.* In April of this year, 30 Seagate Dr. closed for $4.45 million marking the highest sale in the town year-to-date, Janet Kermes represented the buyer in that transaction. 72 Cormorant Rd. sold earlier this year for $2.95 million. Kermes represented the seller and facilitated for the buyer in that transaction.

Residential Properties Ltd. maintains one of the highest market shares of sold properties in the town over $ million, year-to-date,* according to data from Rhode Island MLS.

Kermes has consistently dominated the Narragansett luxury market and is currently ranked #1 in 2020 as top individual producer with over $27 million in sales year-to-date, more than three times the sales volume of the next closest competitor. Janet herself has 12% of the market share in Narragansett overall, and that percentage climbs to a staggering 27%, when focusing on the luxury market alone, according to data maintained by Rhode Island MLS.*

Kermes has over 15 years of experience as a top-selling agent in South County. With over $110 million in overall sales volume over the past decade, Kermes is the #1 sales agent in Narragansett. Kermes has earned a strong reputation in the luxury market, having closed the highest sale in Narragansett history in August 2018 for $8.2 million[1].
