Bruce Jones has been elected to the board of directors of the Maine Real Estate & Development Association (MEREDA), a statewide organization of commercial real estate owners, developers and related service providers. Jones has worked in the commercial furniture industry for 20 years serving in various sales, training and management capacities. In 2004 he joined Creative Office Pavilion as their business development manager. In his role, he works with business owners and managers to provide creative furnishing solutions that support their business objectives. Jones has been a member of MEREDA since 2007 and serves on the Conference Planning Committee. Currently, he is involved with the Portland Society of Architects, and the Greater Portland and Androscoggin Chambers of Commerce. Jones was also recently awarded MEREDA's 2012 President's Award for his exemplary work on MEREDA's behalf. According to Shelly Clark, business & operations manager of MEREDA, "Bruce will make an excellent addition to MEREDA's board of directors as he has already been an active and engaged volunteer by participating on MEREDA's conference committee. I know I speak on behalf of the entire board when I say we are excited to now work with Bruce at the board level."
