JAG adds two retail tenants to J Malden Center: Malden Center Fine Wines and Bit Bar

Malden, MA According to Jefferson Apartment Group (JAG), a leading multifamily developer and operator specializing in apartment communities throughout the East Coast, J Malden Center has signed two new retail tenants to add to a growing mix of local businesses in downtown. The development has also begun pre-leasing the community’s luxury apartment units and will welcome residents at the end of this month.

“We are thrilled to welcome Malden Center Fine Wines and Bit Bar to J Malden Center,” said Sandi Silk, senior vice president and Development Partner, JAG. “In addition to the offerings of Landsmith and Soul City Yoga announced earlier this summer, bringing an upscale beverage and specialty food provider and a new restaurant with interactive experiences will add significantly to the continued transformation of J Malden Center. It is fast becoming a destination for engaging and unique experiences. These locally owned establishments will add enormous value for not only the future residents of J Malden Center, but also for the city and surrounding communities as well.”

Malden Center Fine Wines, a favorite for locals looking for hard-to-find craft beers and mixologists, will be the third location for the group.

Bit Bar Malden will be the bar-
arcade restaurant’s second location, the first of which opened in Salem in June 2016.
