J.M. Electrical completes energy systems work for Harvard University

Major educational institutions consistently look for ways to improve upon the overall sustainability and energy efficiency of their living, academic and research facilities. In many cases, Harvard seeks building controls that reduce energy consumption and maintain reliable delivery of efficient power, heat, and water to keep the campus running smoothly for all students, faculty, and staff. J.M. Electrical works closely with it's customers who continually design leading building automation systems, mechanical equipment, lighting upgrades, and security and fire alarms systems. This longstanding partnership has allowed the University to yield substantial energy savings, reduce energy consumption, and commit to advanced sustainability incentives and efforts. At the same time, it has given J.M. Electrical the opportunity to partner and support the big-picture sustainability efforts of a world-leading institution. Renewable energy technology is a popular trend we are seeing in higher education buildings, and New England is a region of the country that enjoys the highest number of green campuses per capita.
