Hickey of STV|DPM earns Exemplary Service Provider of the Year by the Boston Chapter of IFMA

Newton, MA According to STV|DPM, Carolyn Hickey has been named Exemplary Service Provider of the Year by the Boston Chapter of the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA).

Hickey, director of business development, joined the firm in 2007 and manages business development activities for the academic, healthcare and municipal sectors. Since joining IFMA that same year, she has served on the golf committee as a volunteer, and as committee chair. In addition, she has volunteered with the IFMA membership committee at Boston’s Northeast Buildings & Facilities Management Show & Conference (NEBFM) for several years. Hickey holds a bachelor of arts in communications from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn., with a concentration in organizational communications and marketing. She also serves on the board of trustees for the nonprofit, Sustainable Healthcare for Haiti.

The Exemplary Service Provider award is presented to an associate member in recognition of voluntary contributions to IFMA Boston. The 2017 IFMA Awards of Excellence were presented at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art on Wednesday, May 17. 

Founded more than 100 years ago, STV is a leader in providing construction management, architectural, planning, engineering, and environmental services for buildings, transportation systems, infrastructure, energy and other facilities. The firm is ranked 40th in Engineering News-Record’s Top 500 Design Firms survey and 15th in Building Design + Construction magazine’s Top 40 Construction Management firms.
