Grubb & Ellis brokers 29,158 s/f in two new leases at Acton Woods

Grubb & Ellis Company represented Secured Realty and Capital Group Properties in the leasing of 29,158 s/f in Acton Woods, located at 100 Discovery Way. Jack Kerrigan, executive vice president, Steve Cook, senior vice president, and John Coakley, senior associate facilitated the transactions, which included Everyday Solutions, a leading supplier of GPS-driven solutions for student transportation, leasing 14,322 s/f and Wintriss Controls, formerly Honeywell's Machine Control and Safety business, leaseing 14,836 s/f. Cushman & Wakefield represented Everyday Solutions. Wintriss was represented by National Asset Resolution. "We are delighted to have two well-established technology companies as our newest tenants," said Doug Freemen, owner, Secured Realty. "Our firm has in-house construction capabilities, supporting our ability to deliver unmatched 'turn-key' build-outs for new prospects. We were able to deliver spaces to both tenants in a very short timeframe." In particular, Everyday Solutions had a need for immediate occupancy. Secured Realty and Capital Group Properties were able to accommodate this tight deadline by fast-tracking the build-out of Everyday Solutions' premises, effectively completing construction in less than 30 days. "Acton Woods provides excellent lease value, a serene campus setting and excellent visibility facing Route 2," said Cook. "More importantly, Acton Woods has a very responsive, hands-on local owner. In today's tumultuous leasing market, tenants have a multitude of leasing options, and Acton Woods stands out as an ideal relocation option for tenants seeking quality and value." Acton Woods is an 80,000-square-foot office/flex building just 21 miles from Boston offering easy access to Route 495 and Route 128. The property features ample parking, a well-appointed two-story lobby, new elevator and well-landscaped outdoor area. Acton Woods currently has 11,831 square feet available consisting of 6,107 square feet on the first floor and 5,814 on the second floor. For more information, contact Cook at 617.772.7216.
