Gregory joins Union Savings Bank as VP, construction lending manager

Danbury, CT According to Union Savings Bank (USB), Shawn Gregory has joined the bank as a vice president, construction lending manager.

In her new role, Gregory is responsible for the management of the bank’s construction portfolio as well as new business development for commercial lending. 

Gregory brings more than 17 years of experience in commercial mortgage, construction, C&I lending, and new business development to USB. She also has extensive experience in credit administration, risk management, policy development, and underwriting. Most recently she was a chief credit officer, senior vice president for Fieldpoint Private Bank and Trust.

 where she led critical lending functions within the bank and evaluated the risk frameworks to protect the bank and its shareholders. Prior to that, she was Senior Commercial Underwriter, Vice President also at Fieldpoint.

“We are excited to have Shawn join Union Savings Bank,” said Peter Maher, Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer for Union Savings Bank. “Her proven success in the industry and her wide variety of skills will help us deepen existing relationships and expand our construction and commercial lending business. She’s a strong addition to the USB team.”

Gregory earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany. She currently resides in Stamford, CT.
