Fulcrum Associates breaks ground for 28,400 s/f Newport Health Center

Groundbreaking for Newport Health Center - Newport, NH

Newport, NH Fulcrum Associates, Inc. of Amherst, N.H. has broken ground for the new 28,400 s/f Newport Health Center operated by New London Hospital, a Dartmouth Hitchcock affiliate, at the Newport Shopping Center. The new building will be replacing the existing center that offers primary care, pediatrics, gynecology, podiatry, occupational health, laboratory, x-ray, mammography, and rehabilitive services.

The plan calls for the demolition of the former bowling alley to provide expanded parking and to allow for the construction of the new building in the northeast quadrant of the site. The existing center will remain operational for the duration of construction at which point the center will re-locate to the new space and current building will be razed.          

Dignard Architectural Services of Bedford, N.H. provided design services while CHA Consulting of Keene, N.H. provided civil engineering services for the project. Dave Doyle is serving as the owner representative on the project. The Fulcrum team is being led by Daryl Luter, project manager, and Jeff Beal, superintendent is coordinating the onsite activities.
