Feiner of MG Commercial leases 10,000 s/f at Eagle Sq. for Feldco

Providence RI Dan Feiner of MG Commercial representing Barry Feldman and Gene Beaudoin of Feldco Development completed phase II of the expansion for 10,000 s/f of office space with the Veterans Administration Medical Center. This most recent deal represents the second lease signed between both parties in less than 12 months at Eagle Sq. The first lease for 10,000 s/f commenced in November 2006. Feiner brought the tenant to the former Valley Worsted Mills. Today, Eagle Sq. is a first class, 13 acre mixed-use development, which sits at the intersection of Atwells Ave., Eagle St. and Valley St. Its retail tenants include Blockbuster, Staples, H & R Block and Radio Shack; as well as a mix of restaurants. Eagle Sq.'s retail portion is close to 100% leased. Also, 40 loft condominiums have been sold in the restored mill buildings. The Veterans Administration Medical Center chose the site due to its close proximity to the VA Hospital on Chalkstone Ave., its tenant mix and overall convenience. The VA Medical Center is expected to open by October.
