DeRentis of Residential Properties Ltd. (RPL) completes $1.625 million sale of historic Frederick E. & Albina Bodell House at 25 Balton Road
Providence, RI Residential Properties Ltd. sales associate, Jim DeRentis has completed the sale of the historic Frederick E. & Albina Bodell House for $1.625 million. According to statewide MLS data, this marks the fifth sale of over $1 million on the East Side of Providence this year, with Residential Properties Ltd. representing six of the possible 10 transaction sides.
Located at 25 Balton Rd., this classic English Manor home was originally built c.1929 by Boston architect William Aldrich. The original owner, Frederick Bodell, was a member of the New York Stock Exchange and founder of the Bodell & Co. brokerage firm. Today, the home showcases over 8,300 s/f of living space, including five bedrooms and 8.2 baths.
