Dacon Corp. completes new expansion for Ortho Rhode Island

Warwick, RI Dacon Corp. has completed an expansion for Ortho Rhode Island, a leading private provider of musculoskeletal care. With 11 offices and 40 providers across the state, Ortho RI embraces a holistic vision of healing as an active journey between physician and patient. Located within The Crossings – a dual facility office complex created by the Carpionato Group – this renovation is due to patient demand and practice growth. Managing over 6 million s/f in leasing space, Carpionato is one of the largest integrated commercial real estate developers in New England.

As a leader in musculoskeletal care, their successful business model required a space to support business growth, continuous innovation and employee education. This expansion will support a new surgical and treatment facility which will likewise be located at The Crossings. The increase in operations capabilities spans a call center to accommodate 59 employees, billing department, flex spaces, increased storage/telecommunications capabilities and a modular conference room for board meetings and training. The main design goal – a flexible space that inspires the individuals while acting as a comfortable extension of the current culture – was accomplished through open views, organized workspaces using Creative Office Pavilion furniture, brand coloring and iconography.

“We are delighted to help this great company create a space that facilitates both business and patient outcomes. Having done facility projects for medical device manufacturers, therapeutic centers and hospitals, we’ve seen the spectrum of orthopedic care enhanced by innovation across the years. It has been a rewarding perspective,” said Kevin Quinn, CEO of Dacon.
