Compass’ Kirk|Schryver Team sells
85 Mathewson Rd. for $4 million

85 Mathewson Road - Barrington, RI

Barrington, RI Compass negotiated the sale of 85 Mathewson Rd. for $4 million. Elizabeth Kirk and Lisa Schryver of Compass’ Kirk|Schryver Team represented the buyer. This sale marks the highest sale in the town in 2024, according to data maintained by the Rhode Island Statewide MLS.*

Situated on Mathewson Rd., this newer construction with a private dock offers views from almost every room. The home was designed by architect Scott Weymoth.

“The current market can be incredibly challenging with so little inventory, so we often need to explore properties not currently listed” said Kirk. “We were thrilled to help secure this stunning, off-market property for our dear friends and clients. Even in the most competitive of landscapes, our team’s commitment remains unwavering.”

In 2023, Compass ranked as the #1 luxury brokerage in the east bay town, based on closed $1 million+ sales volume. Compass’ Kirk|Schryver Team maintained over 14% of the market share in town, more than four times any other producer, with $52 million+ in 2023 closed sales volume.

* The Kirk|Schryver Team has now participated in 3 of the top 10 sales in the town. This included the highest sale, 330 Rumstick Rd., which closed at $5.6 million in 2023.
