Collins joins Tighe & Bond as principal engineer

Portsmouth, NH According to Tighe & Bond, a northeast leader in civil and environmental engineering services, James Collins, P.E., has joined the firm as a principal engineer. Collins has 13 years of engineering experience assisting clients with a broad range of drinking water treatment challenges including emerging contaminants and disinfection.
Recognized as a national expert in ultraviolet (UV) disinfection and advanced oxidation technologies, Collins is the co-author of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Advanced Oxidation Handbook and a contributing author to additional Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Water Research Foundation (WRF) manuals. He also serves as the co-chair of the New England Waterworks Association’s (NEWWA) disinfection committee.
